Installation of the stormwater removal system
The stormwater removal system includes all transition elements of the pipe (45° pipe elbows, 67° pipe elbows), connection sleeves, pipe brackets, stormwater shoes and pipes.
Before commencing installation of the stormwater removal system, please read carefully the rules for mounting the pipe-fixing brackets.
Each pipe-fixing bracket is supplied complete with its basis, bolt, washers and nut.
Transition from stormwater collection system to the pipe is carried out via two identical pipe elbows (45° and 67°) and by cutting a section of the necessary length.
After shaping the transition from roof overhang to stormwater removal system, mark for installation of the stormwater removal system.
Important: please note! All elements of the stormwater removal system should be installed vertically by level.
In the bottom part of the system, install the pipe-shoe fixing bracket. In this case, use additional washers for fixing the pipe-bracket fastening at the shoe location point of maximum load. Don’t fully tighten the pipe fixing bracket for the convenience of subsequent pipe installation.
If necessary, install the pipe connecting sleeve. Don’t fully tighten the pipe-fixing bracket for the convenience of subsequent pipe installation.
Install the bases of intermediate pipe-fixing brackets. Remember that pipe fixing brackets should be installed at a distance of 1.7 m.
After the installation of fittings, proceed to the installation of stormwater removal pipes.
Important: please note! From the bottom, the pipe should be installed up to the line marked "insert up to this line." From the top, the pipe should be installed into the fitting as far as it will go.
After installation of the stormwater removal pipes into receptacle fittings, install intermediate pipe-fixing brackets on their bases and tighten all pipe-fixing brackets.
